Get rich this Christmas with ARTDECO

When I think of Christmas in New Zealand, I think of rain. WHAT?! Did I just say that? Yes, and you know I’m right. Which is why, you can really get away with wearing whatever you like. I generally opt for your super summery outfit but this Christmas I’m going dark, bold and rich. What will I be wearing? ARTDECO’s new range of fashion colours ‘Majestic Beauty’, and here are my favourites from the collection… ARTDECO Majestic Beauty Eyeshadows (RRP $9NZD each)  Get those dollar signs in your eyes, and sparkle more than the Christmas tree. These eyeshadows are rich, lush and made for the smoky look. My favourites include purple monarch (no. 277) in a luxurious deep purple, matched with pearly mother nature (no. 53) to balance it all out. I love the range of mattes brought into this collection, meaning you can wear as much colour as you…

Hunt for the perfect drop earrings | Michael Hill Jeweller

Help! Wedding season is quickly approaching, and I need a set of drop earrings to dazzle. Why drop earrings? Well, I’ve got a confession to make. I only got my ears pierced when I turned 24 years old. I’m not sure whether it was the fear of pain or me just being different, but it just never happened before then. 6 months later, it’s safe to say I loved my new found statement when I got my second set done. So here I am now, with four holes in my ears wondering what to do with myself. I have nailed the stud earrings, having collected probably 20 pairs over the space of a year but not one pair is a drop earring. I’m on the hunt for the perfect drop earrings. I want something that’s going to turn heads, something that matches my personality, and something I can wear for…

Styled: Red Jackets and Tartan Skirts featuring Andrea Moore and boohoo

I’ve always wanted a red jacket, and sure it probably stems back to those ‘Little Red Riding Hood’ days but come on, this jacket is to die for. Donned with gold buttons and a blue and white patterned lining, this Andrea Moore jacket pops. We found this location after walking down a long driveway to a basketball hoop we saw on the road. One of those ‘at the back of work, makeshift ones’, but then this was spotted. Wedged between two sheds were all these road cones stacked up. Too much red? We think not. This was a very quiet shoot, with fear of getting caught… WEARING: T-shirt: Andrea Moore Tip Top Short Sleeve $120NZD Jacket: Andrea Moore Skirt: boohoo (similar) I’m loving the gold buttons, but what’s your favourite feature of this jacket? Let me know in your comments below…

Bombshell without the blonde | Currently loving Covergirl

I’ve always been a big fan of Covergirl, just as much as I’m a fan of anything shiny, which is why the new range of Covergirl Cosmetics for your eyes has my tick of approval. Covergirl Bombshell Collection is all about the eyes, and keeping it classic but powerful. With a mixture of shimmering cream shadows, to your classic liquid liner and volume mascara, this collection really is off the chain (and it’s super easy to use). Let me explain more… Covergirl Bombshell Shine Shadow by LashBlast (RRP $16.99NZD each) Cream shadow is always good, but it’s a little hard to get out easily when in a pot. For one, I’m loving the packaging of these tubes and even carry a couple in my handbag for those top up moments. The finish of these is brilliant. Add the tiniest amount and it goes such a long way, and yes…
